After a long day at work, then trying to track down a m.i.a. package (for my husband, not me, bummer!) at the UPS distribution center, I came home to find my lovely, sweet pickle of a pug Franky, had diarrhea’d (sp.)all over every room of the house. It was everywhere; on the curio cabinet, the walls, bookshelf, carpet in the den, living room, kitchen and two bedrooms. Surveying the damage, I could deduct my lovely dog had projectile, explosive diarrhea; almost as if he had a machine gun connected to his anus. Since I don’t own any sort of carpet cleaning device, I rushed to Costco, remembering I saw the Bissell Spot Bot for fairly cheap. I picked up the Bissell Little Green ProHeat Compact Multi-Purpose Deep Cleaner for $79.
I got home and immediately started assembling the cleaner. It was really easy to do, and the instructions were simple. There is no prepping or waiting and the cleaner can be used right away. Arming myself with the cleaner, trash bags, Lysol wipes, and various types of carpet cleaners, I did a sweep of the entire house to make sure I saw every poop drop and particle. I marked off all the spots and started cleaning away. The cleaner easily picked up and removed all traces of fecal matter in a just a couple of sweeps with the brush attachment.
In the three hours it took me to clean all of the poop, I only had to empty the dirty water basin three times; and that’s not a lot considering the size of the unit. I was extremely pleased and would recommend this little cleaner to anyone.
Dear Bissell. I heart you.
I forgot to mention the whole diarrhea incident is probably my fault. Wendy’s bacon cheeseburgers for Franky, probably not the best idea.
